Stayed here for a 50th birthday reunion with two other couples. Had a delicious meal with great cocktails, excellent wine and the service was exceptional. Our rooms were really clean and beautifully presented. The beds were very comfortable and we would love to return

Hands down the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, wife said her pizza and cheesy garlic bread was perfect! Service and the staff were perfect 10/10

We had a great experience at the Stump yesterday. We were seeking dog-friendly casual pizza dining and the Stump really delivers. It’s an out if town location, an old coaching house probably full of little conjoined rooms, great decor, and packed with character. We all went for mixed starters and pizza, although there were plenty of non-carb heavy items available as well excellent local beer, nice staff and a killer tiramisu. Recommended, especially if you are encumbered with dogs.

Fancy place, lovely seating areas, I imagine the garden would be lovely in the Summer months. My waitress was lovely. Food... delicious! The crispy potatoes were like nothing I've seen before and tasted amazing! Only 4 stars out of 5 because it's quite expensive. Over £70 for a couple of pizzas, garlic bread and 2 sides is quite excessive.

Qhat an amazing find on our weekend visit to the Cotswolds. Lovely place, amazing food. Will definitely visit again. And dog friendly, which is a bonus.

Had a very nice meal here. The food was excellent and very good quality as was the service. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Will definitely be going back to try out more if the menu.

Stayed here this week, lovely rooms, nice place, menu disappointed unless u like pizza, which were good, I got asked to move my table twice in the space of ten minutes, not only am I resident for the week and spending alot of money, unfortunately that is terrible service , musical chairs, one guy working away, can't relax as obviously one guy on his own is a liability

This place was highly recommended in the top 50 pubs to visit in the Cotswolds and it didn't disappoint. Food was amazing, beautiful restaurant and a fire on the go. Pizza was as good as I've eaten in Naples and my wife loved her pasta. Definitely worth a visit.

Came for a dinner on Sunday. Didn’t book in advance, but were lucky to get a table. Best to have a reservation as it’s a very nice place and in demand. Exceeded the expectations we had from a pub. Food is delicious, excellent service and lovely, cozy atmosphere with fire place and natural wood interiors, very well decorated and welcoming. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. Thank you ❤️

Stopped for lunch recently on the way out of the Cotswolds back to London - great location for a pit-stop en route. Pizzas are excellent and service is good. Had a negroni. Lovely little spot.

We visited on a Tuesday afternoon for diner and we made a reservation beforehand. The place was cozy and the service was really good. Tried pizza, pasta and tiramisu and all were great!! I also tried two beers (IPA and ALE) and both were quite watery. The wine was good Would recommend it!!

Lovely little place, amazing breakfast that came free with room, cute little place and very refreshing for a night or two. Places are a drive away, but you can find enough nearby to entertain. Side note, they have a fancy espresso machine with pods in the room.

Had lunch on Sunday, and to be told at 2.30 that they were out of Sunday roasts was a real shock and to be honest already kind of ruined the meal. The food was really tasty (pizza and starters), won't lie the doughballs are fantastic. But after travelling a long way and not to be served what we were all hoping for was a bit of a joke at 2.30. If this was 6pm we would have understood. Service was ok but again took ages for anyone to come and get drinks etc. will be back as the food was good but not for a while. Gratuity added (15%) for what was a very average experience.

Our first visit and will be definitely going back again. We only went in for lunch and drinks. Service and food was great. Next time we are going to have Pizza as their selection was good. Worth a visit!

A lovely country pub with a pool table and outdoor seating, I didn't stay the night but I hear the rooms are nice. Bar staff and waiters were very nice and all in all a lovely cosy little pub, a bit on the expencive side but worth it for a nice pub dinner

A nice pub. Food was nice but as a confident and competent home cook, nothing I could not do at home. Pasta and beef was under seasoned. Beef was very tender. Missed chips... Every pub needs chips. Not the crispy potatoes squares. Garlic mayo and devil sauce was good too! Wine was served in a glass full of sediment. That was promptly replaced with no issues although should have been spotted before it got to us. Staff did not check how the meal was whilst we were sat down. Jamon croquettes were tasty but small.

My family stayed at the stump from 11th to 13th of October 2024. It was for a family wedding at Stone Barn. From arriving to leaving we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We enjoyed the food, the drinks, the room's and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy to find, welcoming and friendly. Max our gentleman that waited on us Friday evening was brilliant. Helpful, attentive and friendly. The room's we're spot on. Very warm, the bed, bedding and pillows we're fabulous and comfortable. The shower was great. Coffee maker was a nice touch. Roomy enough too. Loved them. We couldn't fault one thing, thank you. Our only problem we had was one of our party had their car hit by something in the car park overnight. The car park was large, but we did see some people had parked quite random and this led to parts of the car park we're tight. It was such ashame and brought the whole weekend down. I know the staff we're trying to help, but I don't expect a happy ending. Maybe mark out the car park?
